The Interx is an electrical device that uses an advanced technology called 'Interactive Neuro Stimulation'. The Interx uses impulses that adjust dynamically to respond to the tissue being treated. We can therefore deliver non-invasive pain relief through interactive feedback with the patient's body.

The treatments are intended for:

• Symptomatic relief and management of chronic intractable pain
• Adjunctive treatment in the management of post-surgical and post-traumatic pain
• Relaxing muscle spasms
• Increasing local blood circulation
• Immediate post-surgical stimulation of calf muscles to prevent venous thrombosis
• Muscle re-education
• Maintaining or increasing range of motion
• Preventing or retarding disuse atrophy

In most cases the patient will experience relief from the pain immediately following treatment. It is important in chronic conditions to complete the full recommended therapy sessions to ensure optimal outcomes.
